Energy Assets is one of Britain's leading and fastest growing independent metering businesses, delivering metering services, data supply, analytics and utility network services.

This business admin position will be based within the warehouse team within a warehouse office

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DUTIES:

  • Answering the telephone, assisting the caller where necessary and transferring calls to the relevant department that you are unable to assist with.
  • Issuing notices to assist in the scheduling and planning of gas, water & electric works for multi skilled engineers.
  • Assist in ensuring approvals are in place for works to be undertaken, Street works Notices and Safe Control of Operations.
  • Liaison with Local Authorities on street work issues
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with other employees to ensure the effective scheduling and completion of works.
  • Ensure Notice's/Permits are monitored to prevent works overrunning
  • Ability to read drawings to ensure works are notified to the correct location
  • Ensure that all issued documentation is returned for works completed.
  • Maintaining internal databases with up-to-date information
  • General administration duties; filing, photocopying, scanning of documents, shredding and writing letters/email
  • Raising purchase orders for material requests from Reinstating teams
  • Customer liaison
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with other employees

QHSE Responsibilities

  • Comply with the company's H&S management systems; including the policy statement, organisation, arrangements and individual responsibilities.
  • Ensure the accurate reporting of any work related accidents, dangerous occurrences, ill health or near miss incidents to the Compliance Manager.
  • Report any known or suspected defects or failings in the OH&S Management System to the Compliance Manager without delay.
  • Responsible for your own safety, as well as the safety of others

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
