Ye Olde Bridge Inn pride themselves on being a family-run pub/restaurant with a strong sense of community and a since the new revamp of this traditional pub the owners are delivering a new dining experience, with the combination of fresh and seasonal produce mixed with a great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff the YOBI is now a destination to put on your foodie map.

You will be working towards you Commis Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship. Your duties will include:

  • Daily food preparation - prepping fresh food produce ready for the days dining.
  • Cooking and presenting of meals. Under the supervision of the chefs you will be cooking and presenting all of the dishes and the menu
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene.
  • Preparing the ingredients - working alongside the team to make sure the flow of the kitchen is maintained at all times.
  • Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately.
  • Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation.
  • Reporting to the head chef / chef de partie.
  • Cleaning down and setting up.
  • Helping other team members when required.

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
