County Battery Services Ltd established in 1974, so has over 40 years of experience and expertise in servicing customer requirements within the battery industry. Ideally located in the centre of the country with branches within East Midlands, which provides easy access to the whole of the UK. The company provide a wide range of products, from small household batteries to batteries for lorries and much more.

The company have previous apprentices, one who now manages the warehouse and another who is now in charge at the Nuthall Depot.
The company also have an apprentice who currently studies AAT level 3 in accounting and an apprentice who after a successful first year will be enrolling in a level 3 team leader and supervisor role.

County Battery operate a ‘lean culture' and strive to constantly improve, you will be taught a lean way of thinking and be given invaluable business knowledge and skills. Operating as part of a small team the ideal candidate should have no problem taking part in group discussions and working closely with other colleagues.

As a result, your probationary period will include working on the trade counter talking face to face with customers, learning how the warehouse works, understanding how batteries are built and much more. Thus, giving you a head start and allowing you to propel forward through the many different exciting opportunities the business has to offer.

Inbound/Outbound Sales duties and responsibilities:

  • Contact prospective customers by both telephone and email
  • Market Research to develop warm leads
  • Identify prospects that fit the target demographic
  • Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that our company can offer to prospects
  • Up sell additional products as need arises
  • Use database, CRM, or other software to track progress with new prospects
  • Report weekly sales goals and objectives
  • Negotiate price with clients who are interested in making bulk orders
  • Maintain contact with existing clients to make sure they are satisfied and request referrals
  • Record all contact history and customers response in detail.
  • Handle customer needs and requirements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve.

Applicants will be required to attend an Assessment Centre with Vision Apprentices as part of the screening process.
