The role of administrator is varied and very busy and you will play a vital part in this position. Supporting the Team and Resource Coordinator as well as our research team you will get involved with a wide range of admin based activities giving you plenty of opportunity to develop and expand the role as you progress.

Listed below the sorts of things you will be doing with an estimate of how your time will be divided. However no days are ever the same!

Team Administration (45%)

Providing administrative support to the Team & Resource Coordinator and assisting with the company initiatives she manages

Providing administrative support to the Quality team ensuring we are compliant with our legislation accreditation

Assisting our researchers with venue bookings and sourcing quotations (focus groups and depth interviews)

Liaising with our suppliers and providing feedback and information for the research team

Administering Interviewer ID cards to interviewers and preparing any researcher interviewer packs

Assisting with general office administration including managing meeting rooms - making sure they are clean, tidy and equipped correctly and ensuring the kitchen is well maintained at all times

Covering administrative duties of the Business Development administrator when on holiday (vice versa)

Resourcing (35%)

Providing day to day management of our internal workload planner ensuring all projects are adequately resourced and reporting any issues to the MD

Coordinating and identifying needs for freelance resource

Coordinating and monitoring our supplier management system ensuring SLAs and our supplier database are up-to-date

Administrative Support to MD and Directors (20%)

Coordination, planning and admin support for company meetings

Organising, maintaining and co-ordinating MD and Director Calendars, making appointments as required

Providing general administrative support to the MD and Directors - including completing their monthly expenses

Research Steering Group: meeting coordination, minute taking and distribution, communication to peer groups

What we are looking for in this role

We are looking for people who are proactive and are passionate, enthusiastic and have a pride in their work. Previous experience in an admin based role is required.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work efficiently and solve any problems a working day might bring.

Whilst formal qualifications are not essential we require good knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent English skills (verbal and written) and a really good eye for detail.
